Oh, the irony.



The Miss Universe pageant took place over the weekend in Vietnam. The Miss Universe pageant, which was first concocted in California in 1952, was hosted in a country where we lost 58,000 soldiers by the end of the Vietnam War.

Ironically, thirty-odd years after the fall of Saigon, came the fall of Crystle Stewart, Miss USA, right on her ass as she was participating in the evening gown competition. The "universe" works in mysterious ways.

Oh, and Jerry Springer and Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown were the pageant's hosts. Talk about A-List!
