As a Dog Lover...

...all I can say is, "Holy crap!"

Weighing in at over 245 pounds and standing 43 inches tall, George is the Guinness World Record holder for the Tallest Living Dog and Tallest Dog Ever. The Great Dane, now 6 years old, is almost 100 pounds bigger than other dogs of his breed, twice as tall as an average Golden Retriever and about the same weight as four German Shepherds, 11 Beagles or 26 Shih Tzus.

Obama Is Weak!

I can't believe it! Now he's bowing down to Mexican President's DOG?! This is outrageous! What's the dog's name? Cesar Chavez?! Great! Acquiescing to a foreign leader's dog AND unions at the same time! COMMIE! FASCIST! SOCIALIST! And any other "IST" you can think of!

Sadie's Getting Big!

Our little girl is growing up. She got her final rabies shot at the vet yesterday. Clean bill of health and she's already 25 lbs!

Here are a couple of pictures from a trip to the park last week.

Amazingly, we met another pup named Indy who'd been adopted from the same shelter within the same week.

They played for a good long while.

But I did get one of these for my dog, and she loves tearing it to shreds!
