What Do Conservatives Think of Nuke Treaty? SURPRISE! Hate It!
Yes, let's take foreign diplomacy advice of a man who once said you could lose ten floors of the United Nations and it wouldn't make a difference. In a potential preview of conservative arguments for rejecting the Obama administration’s new nuclear arms reduction treaty with Russia in the Senate, John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under George W. Bush, said the treaty reflected “stunning naivete” and placed it in the context of threats to American sovereignty during a wide-ranging speech to the Heritage Foundation on Tuesday.

Through The Looking Glass
Geroge W. Bush: ...Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.
...Russia's government must respect Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
...Russia's actions this week have raised serious questions about its intentions in Georgia and the region. These actions have substantially damaged Russia's standing in the world...
I suppose he thinks that the rest of the world has never heard of a little sovereign country call Iraq.

Did Russia Invade Germany?
Russia has apparently invaded Germany and I didn't hear one word about it on televised news or in the newspapers. I suppose we were all too busy waiting for Hillary Clinton to concede and endorse Barack Obama.
According to Crusty McThuselah, "President [Vladimir] Putin of Germany gave one of the old 'Cold War style' speeches" during a conference over the weekend.

Kasparov on Real Time
Former World Chess Champion and current candidate for president of Russia Garry Kasparov was Bill Maher's guest on HBO's Real Time, and told it like it is in Russia, the U.S and the Middle East.
If only there were more straight shooters in the political arena, we wouldn't be in the global mess we're in now. A riveting interview.
