Last week, George Stephanopoulos hosted a Democratic forum in Carson City, Nevada to kick of the Democratic race for the Presidential nomination. I caught a repeat of it on C-Span and immediately took a liking to Dennis Kucinich's "no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is" attitude.
Now I know he's been around for a while, and has been in the shadows of the more "electable" Democratic candidates. But it is a shame that this man can't get his message out on the mainstream media.
It's a shame that he won't have a chance (my cynical side showing). He's too much of a straight talking, normal guy for anyone to seriously consider listening to him, let alone voting for him. I mean, if the general public can't handle the Howard Dean "yee-haw"ing smear in 2004, how can they deal with the truth? I've already contributed to his campaign because he needs it the most.
