How bad does the workplace has to be for this kind of situation to develop? Another feather in the cap for unregulated free market capitalism. I'm not an anti-free market guy by any means, but I also don't appreciate a smaller piece of the pie for those who actually make the pie.Beijing (CNN) -- Microsoft is investigating a report that workers at a Chinese plant that makes its Xbox game systems threatened mass suicide in a pay dispute, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the company's Hong Kong office.

Shocking Statistics
POSTED BY JHW22
I watched part of a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the US Army's 2012 budget today and I learned three things that flat-out shocked me:
1) 50% of National Guard soldiers who committed suicide were never deployed.
2) Our troops are experiencing oddly high rates of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) at oddly young ages.
3) This generation of soldiers enlisting are less fit and have weaker musculoskeletal strength than previous generations and they carry almost 3x the supplies they should. Thus, musculoskeletal injures are 2x combat injuries.

Terrorism?
Yesterday, a man named Joe Stack was so filled with rage at the government and the IRS in particular, he decided to burn his house down and fly a plane into an office building housing an IRS office in Austin, Texas. It takes a special kind of crazy to be so angry about being taxed (as is everyone else in the country) that you'd kamikaze into a building. That showed them, huh?
I just have one, simple question: What if someone with the same exact gripe against the government did the same exact thing, but instead of a name like Joseph Stack, it was Yusef Mohammed Abdul-Salaam? You think that the crazies would be calling it a terrorist act? How soon would they be on their soap box blaming President Obama and a Democratic majority who is weak on terrorism?
