Official's Key Report On Iraq Is Faulted

'Dubious' Intelligence Fueled Push for War

Washington Post: "The bottom line is that intelligence relating to the Iraq-al-Qaeda relationship was manipulated by high-ranking officials in the Department of Defense to support the administration's decision to invade Iraq," Sen. Carl Levin said yesterday. "The inspector general's report is a devastating condemnation of inappropriate activities in the DOD policy office that helped take this nation to war."

Tell us something we don't already know. We all know the intelligence was cooked. But sooner or later, heads had better start rolling or else all these investigations and hearings are for naught.

I AGREE AT LEAST NOW THAT THE DEMS ARE IN CHARGE,THEY ARE ACTUALLY HOLDING HEARINGS SOMETHING THE REPUBLICS REFUSED TO DO.DURING VIETNAM,BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS WERE CONTROLLED BY THE DEMS YET,THEY CONTINUALLY HAD HEARINGS ON THE WAR DESPITE THE FACT,THEY HAD A DEMOCRAT (JOHNSON)AS PRESIDENT.THAT ALONE TELLS YOU WHAT PARTY GENUINELY CARES ABOUT THE BEST INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY
