Looks like Roger Clemens isn't used to being in a situation where he isn't the domineering intimidator, after interrupting the Committee Chairman during his closing statements.
And as John Amato notes, "Watching the Republicans on the committee go out of their way to protect Roger Clemens, a Texan and fellow Bush supporter was sad. Steroids in sports is not a partisan issue. Andy Pettitte’s testimony, another Texan and Clemens pal is most damaging to his case... [Waxman] also apologized for the hatchet job that was done to McNamee by Chris Shays, Davis, Burton and Co."

Clemens first reaction to the Mitchell report was to say he had never been injected by mcnamee then told 60min he was.He had never heard of hgh till he read it in the Mitchel report.Pettitte mis remembered the hgh conversation saying it wasnt him but his wife who had used it 10yrs ago who unbeknwnst to him had been injected in the ass by mcnamee! He was so upset he didn't fire him when he found out!She was getting a bad reaction from it but didn't bother to call the Dr.So,allegedly she didn't take it for the SI covr as Mcnamee said,it was 10yrs ago and back then he didn't try to research it when she didn't feel well.He also said if he knew he was a target of the report or he would've met with Mitchel. When told his agent/lawyers the Hendricks bros.knew they wanted to meet with him but claims they never told him.He was asked why didn't fire them if he was so upset he couldn't give an answer.I could go on about the nanny but he it would take all day.I do know they should indict him for perjury. When his lawyer mentioned a possible presidential pardon he was admitting he was guilty. If Bush gives him a pardon, then he's gotta give one to the other lying steroid freak,Bonds
