Peter Coyote On Air America

I was driving around today and listening to an increasingly awful Air America (what else am I going to listen to, endless sports drivel from two guys I can't stand?) and Richard Belzer... yeah, he's subbing as a guest host in the old Randi Rhodes slot - is interviewing actor Peter Coyote. Coyote is writing a new book, the name of which escapes me at the moment... something about twelve things you should know are myths... and he came up with the following statistic while doing research which I found amazing. Ready?

"The top 447 richest people in the world own more than the poorest 20% of the world's population... that poorest 20% amounts to 2.5 BILLION people."

...I know, right?
