This is Going to be Super Classy

Posted by Fraulein

Oh. My. God:

"You would think that the family wants to end this with a bang," "Today" show correspondent Michael Owku, stationed at Forest Lawn, told Meredith Vieira.
"They want to have a great big surprise for all the fans and all the friends that will be gathering there at Staples Center, and what bigger surprise than to suddenly have the casket of Michael Jackson up on stage for the last time?"

... and nothing says "class" like a 24K gold-plated casket!

And they're having all these performers...what the hell are they going to do, dance around the coffin?? The mind reels...

Owku is living proof you don't need a brain to be a reporter.
The night he Jackson died,he was stationed outside the hospital where the crowds were gathered and actually said to Olberman that the crowd was there because a star like Michael jackson dies only once!To bad jackson wasn't a cat.

"Only dies once..."--that is classic. Meanwhile I am still stunned that they literally hauled the coffin ONTO THE STAGE. And then had Usher and Mariah Carey (with her boobs hanging out, because that's always appropriate for a memorial service) singing, pretty much, to the dead body. The word "gruesome" doesn't even cover it.

Mariah's boobs hanging out is appropriate for any occasion.
