Raise your hand if you guessed that Piyush "Bobby" Jindal's Sheriff Lee and The Katrina Rescue Boats story during his Republican response was a bunch of bullshit. Well, the part that Jindal was there, that is.

It wasn't that they were standing right down there with the boats."Jindal was on a foreign trip when Katrina made landfall on Aug 29 ,2005 - he inserted himself into the story for... we'll call it "dramatic purposes." Not a great way to make a your debut as the Republicans' Great Brown Hope.
And now it seems that the Jindal office is trying to revise their revision multiple times. When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging, Piyush.

There is also a link floating out there of an interview the sheriff did with Larry King on 9-11-05 that gives no mention of Jindal helping him, so it must have been a while after ..lol

I have a friend who lives in the Vegas area and has all her life.. she says the Vegas train issue has come up for the last 40 years... over and over...she commented on my post about Jindal's speech.. I thought it was funny that she picked up on that.. and that it has been such a talking point for the repukes for so long.
I wasn't aware of it, but she said that they bring it up all the time out there. Just thought I would mention that...lol
